We're not really a restaurant though; it's hard to describe.
We are a liquor store, deli, bakery, cafe that sells prepared food to take out, catering, gift ware, cookware, Viking products, Vietri pottery, Ridal crystal and kitchen gadgets - oh, and dirty chocolates.
We have a few tables where you can sit down and have a snack though.
We specialize in high-end, fancy-shmancy and hard to find gourmet stuff.
Today I tasted some truffle honey (yep, honey with little bits of fungus floating in it) I swear I have never tasted anything so sublime.
We love visitors.
You have to ask for me though, I'm always in the kitchen - a Sous Chef's work is never done.
Kev: I only want a medal if it is Caphalon non-stick.
AG: When is your holiday party at The Hawthorne? Dean & I saw Kevin and Coffeesnob3 and I suggested we maybe meet up with you at the bar in The Hawthorne. Perhaps Foxtales, Bry, Marthadot and Origami Yoda could join in. And anyone else that we are friends with that you find on our blogs. Please respond to this entry if you think this is a swanky idea or not. We think it would be cool to meet you because you seem fun.

(You know I kid. You're the hardest working person not in show biz.)
Shubie's? Is this a new restaurant on the north shore?
We're having our holiday party at the Hawthorne Hotel. AG could stop by and visit afterwards.
AG:
Yes, yes stop by!
